Travis Newsome, President of Newsome Homes and Construction, Inc., started building homes in 1999. As a third generation carpenter, he started very young working the summers for his father who still owns a framing/interior trim business. This background in framing and interior trim has contributed to a philosophy of building a solid home with extraordinary exterior and interior detail.
Travis takes pride in taking a "hands on" approach with customer satisfaction first an foremost in mind. By taking on a limited number of projects at any given time, he can assure the homeowner the right amount of quality attention for every job. He has built homes in Rhodes Farm, Bartles Farm, Jones Creek Plantation, The Summit at Jones Creek, Knob Hill, Kiokee Ridge, and Cullum Farms. Travis is a member of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and the Columbia County Chambers of Commerce. He is also licensed in the state of South Carolina.
