Doug and Suzanne Nichols have been designing and building custom homes for over three decades. For years, their business was centered in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver Washington area.
After vacationing in the San Juan Islands for many years, they finally designed and constructed their permanent residence near Olga in the small community of Deer Point on Orcas Island.
This experience allowed them to learn about the unique challenges associated with building in this region. They are now applying their new-found knowledge and professional skills to designing and managing construction of custom homes in the San Juan Islands.
Nichols Homes is unique in the breadth of services offered.
We begin with assistance in developing an overall project budget and concept with the client. Then we assist in the pursuit of land, if needed, followed by a custom home design based on your unique needs.
If construction services are needed, we provide an open book construction management service that gives clients visibility of all project costs.
