Northern Chesapeake Builders Corporation (NCBC) was founded in 1964 by Norman E. Rockwell. Mr. Rockwell was a civil engineer and had been working for The Rouse Company prior to starting NCBC. Mr. Rockwell was joined by his son, Norman E. Rockwell, Jr. in 1974, who has been running the day-to-day operations of the company since 1983.
NCBC has constructed over 3.5 million square feet of commercial office, retail, medical, and warehouse buildings in the Baltimore-Washington vicinity.
In addition to constructing new buildings, NCBC has also completed over 12 million square feet of tenant interior build-out including standard offices, retail stores, secure S.C.I.F. space, high end corporate suites and government offices in addition to rail-served warehouse facilities.
