Openscope Studio Architect

OPENSCOPE STUDIO is a San Francisco architectural practice committed to exploring a wide range of project types at all scales, from architecture and urban planning to furniture design. The shift in size and context allows us to create informed design, and address multiple aesthetic, social, technical, and economic goals. Coming from diverse professional and personal backgrounds, we are united by an absolute love of architecture and urbanism.

OpenScope is intimately familiar with building on difficult sites in San Francisco, and has worked closely with the SF Planning Department on implementing the city’s Accessory Dwelling Unit regulations. We are currently working with homeowners, small property owners, and some of the city’s largest landlords to add much-needed housing while adding value for owners. At the same time, we are working further afield on diverse projects including a forest pavilion in Mendocino County, California and plans for a 2 acre mixed-use site in Bozeman, Montana.
