Padilla Electric Builders is a licensed electrical and general contracting company based in Valencia, California, serving commercial clients, public agencies, facility owners, and developers across Southern California since 1994.
We hold dual licenses -- C-10 Electrical Contractor and Class B General Building Contractor (CSLB #723149) -- and are proudly signatory with IBEW Locals 11, 47, 413, and 441. We are also State Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), qualifying us for public agency and commercial contracts with supplier diversity requirements.
Our company was founded by Joe Padilla, a U.S. Army veteran who spent nearly two decades mastering electrical systems at Southern California Gas Company before launching his own business in 1994. His son Harley now leads the company and has grown it more than seven-fold while expanding trade capabilities and building a team with deep field experience across Southern California. When you work with us, you deal directly with the people who own the company and are accountable for the outcome -- not a project manager you've never met.
Dual licensing means we self-perform both electrical and general construction scopes under one contract. One point of contact, one schedule, and one contractor accountable for everything from groundbreak through closeout. No coordinating between disconnected subcontractors, no accountability gaps, no surprises.
Our workforce arrives certified, our fleet arrives stocked, and our crews are ready to start work from day one. We maintain organized schedules, communicate proactively, and document thoroughly from mobilization through final inspection.
Services include commercial and industrial electrical construction, power distribution, switchgear installation, automation and controls, emergency power and generators, lighting systems, ground-up builds, concrete and civil work, multi-trade coordination, and design-build delivery.
We serve Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Kern Counties throughout Southern California.
