    Want to compliment the outstanding work of Peace of Mind Structural.
    Based on a recommendation from our neighbor, Bill Crook, who is a
    residential inspector, we decided to do a "voluntary seismic
    improvement" project for our large garage and basement area. Our master
    bedroom sits over the garage, so the garage space is known as a "cripple
    space" or a "soft story." Bill already had a relationship with Peace of
    Mind, so Rene came over to evaluate the project. He then recommended we
    work with Dominic Chu, who is the structural engineer he works with
    often. Dominic laid out a very practical and reasonable project plan
    which was customized to our house which was built in the late 30s. We
    then agreed on the plan and scheduled the work.

    Peace of Mind was able to accommodate my extensive travel schedule and
    successfully completed the project in the allocated timeframe. When the
    City of San Carlos inspector came for the final inspection, he said this
    was one of the best planned and executed seismic improvements for this
    type of structure he had ever seen! Needless to say, all of us were
    very gratified to hear this feedback from someone who sees this kind of
    work on a regular basis. Further, the Peace of Mind team was all
    terrific about doing the work; including helping us move the necessary
    items in the garage/basement to allow access to the work areas. I would
    recommend Peace of Mind Structural to anyone who is looking to get this
    kind of work done.
