Our experience with Pearson Homes has been one of only frustration. Once you close on your home their sense of urgency becomes non-existent. We have had drainage issues in the backyard over the last year; each time bringing it to their attention and each time their response is slow. They kept putting it off until we filed it under our one year warranty in December. Once they finally agreed to get it done correctly (a contractor came out, put a drain in and didn't do it properly) it has been a constant reply from Pearson about the weather not allowing them to do it. A work order was FINALLY put in with a contractor about a month ago and when we spoke with the contractor he said he would be out the first week of July.....still nothing. Each time we follow up with Pearson they say it will get done. Our confidence through the entire building process with this builder is zero; even when other things were to be completed that were under warranty their turnaround time and response time was horrible. We had to constantly email/text/call to get them to complete anything. Responses with Tonya (one of the project managers) is awful....if you do get a response. Unless you want constant frustration with the building process, find a different home builder!

Absolutely terrible from the beginning and we should’ve walked away.
1. Called a few days before closing wanting to reschedule because they weren’t finished. Apparently this is a very common occurrence.
2. Once you purchase the home it gets even worse. The “nail pop/drywall repair/paint touch up” they offer at 1 year? Good luck. We scheduled ours for July 26, today is September 27 and it’s not done. Every week, often the morning of, I get a text or email from Scott Mann needing to reschedule. Every. Single. Time.
Horrible just horrible. This has been the issue with EVERY SINGLE THING and almost every neighbor has the same experience. Water drainage issues, stairs pulling away from the walls, mold, you name is. Pearson refused to fix them. One neighbor finally got the city involved; the city pulled their building permits until they fixed the issues.
Welcome to the “Pearson Process.” Don’t do it. Just walk away, there are so many other builders.
