Perez Construction was officially founded in 2017, but in reality, it had been active for over a decade in San Francisco. Everson’s father, Pedro Perez, had been working as a subcontractor in SF since 2001, and sending money back to the family in Honduras. Everson, his mother, and his four younger siblings moved to San Francisco in 2006. Everson attended Everett Middle School and Mission High School, where he served as Captain of the varsity soccer team.
In 2015, Everson graduated from San Francisco State University, with a degree in Business Management, and became a DREAMer. Despite having opportunities to work at numerous big corporations, Everson decided to stay and support his family in construction, with the goal of eventually building Perez Construction.
Perez Construction currently has 12 full time employees, including Everson’s father, brother, uncle, and members of his Church. The company also has a close network of trusted subcontractors. Between our full time employees and subcontractors, Perez Construction is currently supporting 25 families here in San Francisco.
Everson is married to his high school sweetheart, Jocelyn, and they have a 3-year old son, Caleb. Outside of work, Everson mentors high school students through his Church. In his free time, Everson likes to fish, play soccer, and explore nature.
