Postler & Jaeckle

I would like to introduce our company Postler & Jaeckle Service that has been in the HVAC/R service business for over 50 years.
Postler & Jaeckle Service, a division of Postler & Jaeckle Corp., is one of the largest independent mechanical service providers in NE United States. With five service offices in New York (Rochester, Elmira, Syracuse, Binghamton, and Albany) as well as offices in Pittston, PA and Jackson, New Jersey. Postler & Jaeckle Service has grown into a mechanical service company with approximately one hundred experienced service technicians with factory training in virtually all makes and manufacturers. This gives us the ability to support our customers in various locations and service various types of mechanical equipment.

Postler & Jaeckle Service prides itself on our proactive approach to preventative maintenance. Once we gain a new customer, we develop customized computerized maintenance tasking based on the equipment on site, the customer’s needs and priorities, and the manufacturer’s recommendations. This gives us accountability to our customers and gives us accountability back from our field staff. This ensures that the work that is being done is what needs to be done and that it gets done in the proper time frame. Complimenting this, P&J Service has in-house project/engineering capabilities that allow us to work with our customers not only on keeping existing equipment running at peak efficiency, but also to review their mechanical/controls needs to make sure that they are being met in the most efficient way possible.

In addition to that, we utilize a computerized CARE program that schedules designated office support people to visit our customers in pre-selected intervals and review ongoing work, answer any questions, and make suggestions regarding the operation of their facilities. This assures us that we are communicating with the customer on a regular basis and that we are satisfying their mechanical service needs. This program, and the high level of service that P&J provides has given us a customer retention rate of over 95% per year, and typically any loss of customer is due to buildings closing and/or customers deciding to perform the work in-house.
