Roscoe L. Blue Sr. Founded Blue Realty and Construction Company after returning home from military service in World War II . An active Realtor, Developer, Appraiser as well as Builder, he was best know for his larger than life personality. He served the Fayetteville Community as a County Commissioner, President of the local Board of Realtors, and was a member of numerous civic organizations.

R. Leighton Blue Jr. Joined his father in 1968 as a member of Blue Realty and Constructions real estate sales. He excelled in the building aspect of the business and by 1974, oversaw all construction. Leighton’s gift for design has spanned from classic to contemporary. His reputation for exceptional quality, service, and dependability in both the custom home and commercial building industry set Blue Realty and Construction Company apart.

Roscoe L. Blue III followed in the family tradition in 1998. After earning a BA in Communications at UNCW, Roscoe began his career as a licensed general contractor. A certified Green Builder, he takes pride in the projects that Blue continues to develop. 2016 marks a new chapter to the seventy year Blue Realty and Construction story as we transition to R. L. Blue Construction. We honor our companies real estate and development beginning while we focus on what we are known for today, quality construction.
