    Replace water heater
    $100

Affordable Plumbing Services was assigned by my home warranty company. They failed to schedule an appointment as promised.

Because of they extensive leak in our water heater, we had turned off the water. They turned it back on, waited 4 minutes. Determined that it was no longer leaking and walked out the door with their $100 service fee.

I walked to the basement and it was indeed leaking again. I will be stopping payment on their check.

    Hot Water Heater install
    $565

I had a hot water heater being replaced with First American Home Warranty, they told me use Affordable Plumbing Services, LLC.
The plumber came to my home and confirmed I needed the hot water heater replaced. He also told warranty company that to bring it up to code I must get an expansion tank($275), flex gas line($150) and flex hot water return line($140) added. I was okay with this if it was needed to bring my system up to code.
He came to my home, replaced the hot water heater, added an expansion tank. He then hooked the existing flex gas and flex water line back up to system. He did not install new (the existing flex lines were already up to code) or have to alter in any way the existing lines, simply hooked them up to new water heater. Then proceeded to charge me $565 for "bringing the system up to code". I paid with a check (I have carbon copy).
After noticing the work done I attempted to call Affordable and had to leave several messages requesting information. I got no call back. I emailed and Affordable responded (a couple of emails went back n forth, me requesting refund, Affordable requesting proof). So I sent proof. I took photo documentation before and after the job. Affordable admitted to wrong doing in email, then offered to reschedule and change out the lines. I said "NO" the lines are up to code and don't need to be changed, I would like my refund though of $290 for work you claimed that needed to be done that really did not need to be done. Affordable Plumbing used the existing "up to code lines" that were already on system and charged me for them!
This is fraudulent business practice. Charging people for work that doesn't need to be done and using other business' good name (the Warranty Company) to attract you customers that will be locked into having the work done (I can provide details if needed).
I have emails, text records, receipts etc. for supporting documentation. Crooks like this need to be stopped!
    Please help.

    Basement finishing projext
    $27,150

We recently had the pleasure of working with Jeremy and Josh on a basement finishing project. While not the least expensive bid, they genuinely understood the scope of our project and budget parameters. In fact, their creativity and ingenuity helped us maximize our space and ability to stay within our budget while providing the very best utilization, design and functionality. Josh and Jeremy were always available for questions and helped ensure our project was completed acurately, on time. We would highly recommend JRK construction - they also became friendly faces my kids genuinely enjoyed seeing and talking too over the course of the project!

Replace flooring and an outdoor stairway.

When I purchased a townhome, I wanted to replace old flooring, linoleum, and an outdoor stairway to the patio that was unstable. JRK came to my home, gave me a bid, and we set a date for the work. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but looked out for my welfare. When some of the flooring was measuring wider on one end than the other, JRK went to bat for me with the supplier and got enough replacement flooring to end up with beautiful floors. In addition, my stairs to the patio are now sturdy and beautiful. I have received many compliments! Add to this, the fact that my back door was leaking, and JRK discovered mold underneath the floorboards in the affected area. JRK cleaned up the mold, replaced the back door, and there is no longer a problem. JRK also replaced the old, ugly linoleum in the bathroom with tile and did a beautiful job there too. I am so pleased with the work done, that I plan to hire JRK again to replace the remaining carpeting upstairs in my home with wooden flooring. I cannot say enough about the professional, timely, and beautiful work done by JRK. AND...they always thoroughly clean up after themselves!!!!

    Bathroom Floor
    $1,000

A friend recommended that I call JRK regarding replacing some flooring in one of my bathrooms. A gentleman by the name of Josh immediately called me back and set-up an appointment to look at my job. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with the floor so Josh suggested several options along with his professional recommendation . I received an email quote from him a day later. Once I decided to work with JRK, we scheduled the work and I made my selections. JRK did a beautiful job on my bathroom floor. I was also impressed with how they cleaned up their work area. I definitely plan to use JRK again for my larger projects like remodeling my kitchen and adding a covered patio.
