Roberts Residential Remodeling has been the Twin Cities home remodeling leader for more than 37 years. Our experienced design and build team takes pride in listening to and collaborating with homeowners to create stunning living spaces that meet their design, space and budget goals. We are a true design and build firm, with a complete selection center and design office. We are involved in all phases of construction from shingles to sod. Roberts’ Residential Remodeling, Inc. has one of the only in-house millwork shops in the Twin Cities. Our craftsmen create elegant, architecturally correct and functional custom cabinetry of all types. Roberts’ Residential Remodeling, Inc. team members are all employees of the company. We are not a “pickup truck” contractor who is here today and gone tomorrow. We are able to maintain quality, control, timeliness, and completion of all projects we are involved in. Having employees is especially important when maintaining a schedule. We are not subject to a “subcontractor’s schedule”. We decide when we begin and complete a project. We are proud to have received the Achievement in Consumer Excellence (ACE) Award from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

John Paggen, Owner
Roberts’ owner, John Paggen, has worked with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry on various occasions. He has provided support to DLI investigations involving licensed and unlicensed contractors who have harmed the public through unlicensed activity, underbidding, and project abandonment. John’s efforts and expertise helped DLI achieve resolution for homeowners and held unscrupulous contractors accountable for their actions. In the summer of 2010, John was invited to assist in the updating of the State of Minnesota Residential Building Contractor licensing exam as a subject matter expert. His unique perspective from the field and his many years of experience as a general contractor and business owner were sought by DLI to make the licensing exam as effective as possible. A more effective exam and more rigorous statutes and rules governing the construction industry enhance the qualifications of individuals and businesses starting in this industry, which ultimately serves to protect the consumer.
