    He quoted me a price for the job, pulled the permit and then left on vacation. He had another guy (very likely unlicensed) do the work. Rod changed the terms of the contract mid job, refused to do part of the agreed work, demanded payment prior to work being done (even though he was hired for labor only, so he did not have carrying costs). The guys he sent to do the work packed their tools and left every time there was an issue and expected me to solve the problem, caused a lot of additional damages they did not take responsibility for, and wasted a lot of materials. They also left unfinished parts of the project. On another occasion, Rod Rivera forged my signature on the permit.
