We called 4 Local Roofers for some reason? Tracy Polaske was the only roofing expert we dealt with and trusted. His vast experience in tile roof repairs and his honesty and easy demeanor sold us on the spot! Roof Doctors was head and shoulders above the competition....it wasn't close! I encountered another roof emergency and contacted TRACY and he was able to send help the following morning! His team member ABEL arrived and diagnosed the problem and corrected it within a few hours. It is nice to know you can count on someone to do the job quickly and professionally. Knowing that TRACY and ABEL are part of Roof Doctors gives me confidence to always call or recommend them for any roof problems!

We signed an AOB (Assignment Of benefits) with this company because our claim for roof damage caused by Hurricane Irma was denied by Citizen's Insurance,. This contact stated that our roof repair would cost an estimated $30,000.
They worked with an attorney who eventually came to a settlement with Citizen;s for $80,000 to cover our roof and the interior damage caused by the leaks and water intrusion caused by the hurricane. This resulted in a check issued for $73,660 after the $6600 deductible was paid.
1: After weeks of asking for a quote for the roof replacement we were given a quote for $80,000 NOT $30,000. That is not a typo - $80,000. He(Lou) would not back down from this and tried to actually JUSTIFY the quote. Competitive quotes put the replacement at $28,000 to $34,000
2. When we complained about this he crossed our names and the name of the mortgage company off of the settlement agreement in order to try to obtain a check from Citizen's s made out SOLELY to Roof Doctors LLC. Citizen's fortunately refused to do so.
3. He is currently attempting to have us pay the $6600 deductible that was already paid to Citizen's directly to him in an attempt to steal even more.
4. After coming to a verbal agreement to terminate the AOB for $10,000 instead of the 20% ( $16,000) called for by the AOB he reneged and is trying for the 20% PLUS paying the $6600 deductible (that was already paid directly to the insurance company) directly to him

Terrible experience! Be ware!
We hired Roof Doctors LLC to repair our roof framing trusses and provide a whole metal roof replacement after it was damaged by Hurricane Ian. RD rep assured us that all our trusses are repairable and the framing repairs will be done in 2-3 weeks. The project start date was signed as March 27th 2023 and 30 % deposit ($19500) was paid on March 24th. However, no work was done on the site, no materials were delivered, and no permit application was submitted within 30 days after the project start date. The project start was rescheduled multiple times, finally on April 28th Englewood PM informed us that the project could not be started, because the company let go 2 main crews. He confirmed that RD will refund the deposit in 2 days. However, no refund was issued and the Englewood office disappeared. RD head office didn't provide any updates. Every time we called the head office we've been told that the owner will contact us and the line was disconnected. On May 12th 2023 we have sent a registered letter of Demand for the Deposit Refund to Roof Doctors Head office and Englewood office. We have not received any reasonable response to our letter of demand within 30 days after delivery date. Instead, Roof Doctors started sending us very abusive, embarrassing messaging both on email and personal Facebook pages, calling us fraudfull people, SCUMBAGS, blaming in lying to our insurance and mortgage companies and making fraud. As we understand, the single purpose of the embarrassing messages was to provoke us to terminate our contract. This behavior is both unfair and unprofessional, unacceptable for the licensed contractors. On June 19th 2023 RD issued a partial permit not sufficient to start a project (was locket by the county later as insufficient), as a separate permit is required for the structural tresses repairs prior to any other repairs. We have contacted Roof Doctors LLC and their permitting company both by phone and email to notify that the open permit is not sufficient to start the job. On July 15th our attorney have sent to the company a legal letter with the request of the full deposit refund since the company failed to provide the service in timely fashion. The request was fully rejected by the company owner. We still didn't receive any refund or any suggestions from the company to resolve the situation, though we made few more attempts to communicate the settlement. In response we have only received a sarcastic email from the owner saying that they are not allowed to respond by our attorney (totally not true). Clearly, the company has the intention of holding our money without providing a service.
