Owner Brian Rupp had an early start in the construction business. At only 14 years old he was taking on side jobs and small tasks in the trade to get a foot in the door. By the age of 16 Brian was rushed into adulthood when his father Wayne suffered a stroke and was unable to run the family business. At just 17 years old Brian was writing contracts for carpentry projects while also working full time as part of a framing crew building homes. In the meantime he attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and obtained his Construction Supervisor License at the age of 20.
Over the next 20 years Brian developed long-lasting relationships with many clients –some currently enduring over two decades. Carpentry has been a family tradition – they were taught to do any job as if it were their own. They carry on the family’s values by guaranteeing their work.
Today Rupp Builders continues to perform residential building and remodeling in Boston’s South Shore. Focusing primarily on new home construction, additions and renovations.
