Horrible experience with this company...the plumber that came out to replace our water heater caused flooding in our laundry room and into the downstairs neighbors unit after he told us he had drained our tank and not to worry until he got back to replace it. They refused to resolve this issue to correct the damages they had done. Owner refused to take any responsiblity.

Our 5 year old water heater was leaking and Safe Cali was assigned by First American home warranty. A plumber came out to assess the issue. He then scheduled to come back the following week to replace the pressure relief valve. We continued to have leakage but suddenly also developed heating issues following the “repair.” He came back out to yet again assess the issue. Said he would replace some part of the heating element and if that didn’t work we would need a new water heater. He left and put in for approval of the part and to order it. It took weeks for him to come back out. He replaced that part and closed our case. We had to then reopen it because the leaking was still occurring. When the plumber came back out he then said the likely culprit was at the main water source and that it was a pressure issue even though the reading was completely normal. He tried to say that at night pressure likely builds causing the leakage and if that was the case it wouldn’t be covered. We said we weren’t having any issues with increased pressure build up when we turned on the water in the morning. He then stated he didn’t know what the problem was. Unbeknownst to us after he left he put in his report to our warranty company that there was no failure. Our case was closed again and when we had it reopened we requested Conforti Plumbing to come out instead. They sent a plumber out almost immediately. He inspected everything and fixed it on the same day. Said our water expansion tank had completely failed. Problem solved. No more leaking. We called to talk with someone at Safe Cali Plumbing about our experience with the plumber and was told they would return our call. They never did. That was the biggest hassle! We won’t be using any assigned plumber again. We have had the best of luck with Conforti every time and we will be sure to request them in the future. Lesson learned.
