Stevens (Steve) Turner started his journey towards becoming a Master Builder in 1983 with Multitect Properties, building several large commercial and multi-unit condominium projects. In 1988 he transitioned into custom home building and remodeling and was responsible for numerous single family residential projects throughout San Diego’s North County.
In the midst of building custom homes Steve also become well known for erecting seawalls up to 35 feet high along the north coast of San Diego, designing and carving the faces of the walls to match the existing bluffs. When the Solana Trade Center began to take shape (now known as Cedros Design District) Steve was named the contractor of choice for all tenant improvement work. He gave Cedros Design District its current facelift and also remodeled the ever popular Belly-Up Tavern.
A co-founder of San Diego Master Builders, Steve continues to be responsible for some of the highest quality custom homes and home renovation projects in San Diego. All of his projects benefit from his eye for detail, professionalism and unwavering focus on quality. His work can be seen throughout La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe and Encinitas.
