Founded as a family owned company in the fall of 2011 in Scottsdale Arizona, partners Joshua Gonzales and Brendon Sarracino saw a need for a more business minded specialty subcontracting company. After nearly 40 years of construction experience between the two of them, they understood that there was a huge need for a contractor that could properly manage the flow of work from pre-construction to close out. They envisioned a company that would use the time tested general contracting structure and methods from estimating to project management, and utilize some new and innovative ideas when it came to managing its own labor force and quality control.
The response from the market was immediate. Sargon quickly grew from a humble 6 employees to well over a hundred by the summer of 2015. In 2013 the company moved from Scottsdale to their current location in Phoenix Arizona. In order to meet the quality and demands of their clients, Brendon and Joshua founded Sargon Steel in 2014 to cover their growing demand of light structural and ornamental iron on their projects. 2015 brought expansion into Colorado with the opening of their retaining wall division which focuses on large scale retaining walls throughout Colorado. As the Sargon family continues to expand one thing is a constant, the dedicated men and women who's hard work, vision and determination have made the Sargon team a leader in the construction industry.
Sargon is proud member of the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona, Valley Partnership, The Arizona Masonry Guild, The Arizona Masonry Contractors Association, and the Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute.
