This company is absolutely awful, poor craftsmanship and given four chances to come back and make right, but blew us off instead. I met with the owner to discuss the craftsmanship, and he had a million excuses. He agreed to fix it, but was more worried about getting paid by Lowes. The owner rescheduled four times. We hired another contractor to fix the work, and the results are night and day. Beware!

Awful, low class company that does terrible work and leaves your home damaged. I cannot warn you enough to not allow this company on your property. Contracted through Lowes, lied, no call no show, blamed lowes, damaged our home. Finally, we requested another contractor after giving SDR 7 chances to correct their awful poor work. STEER CLEAR!

I tried to buy a door and have it installed through Lowes and they assigned SDR in September. When SDR called to schedule the assessment, they said they'd be there in November just to measure the door. I told the rep that wasn't a good date for me (too far in the future) and asked if she had anything sooner. She said no and gave me an attitude as if I was wasting her time by asking for a different date. I told her it wouldn't work and I'd figure something else out. Well a couple of weeks later they started with harassing phone calls and a month and a half later they showed up at the house without an appointment. Lowes isn't very helpful with calling these people off either.

Had a great experience with SDR Construction on July 9th, the date of install. Though there was an error on our front door measurement, Perry, our installer, caught it while picking up the materials at Home Depot. He also noticed that HD had given us a really crappy side door that we were installing....dings, etc. and told us he wouldn't install this in his house. Perry saved everyone tons of wasted time, but getting it straightened out at HD while he was there. The install went great and we are extremely pleased. Ask to have your doors installed by Perry and his team. He is the best.

I went to Lowe's for a new storm door/installation. I paid a fee for SDR Construction to come measure the door. The reason for the door replacement was because a wind storm broke my door along with the piece of wood it was attached to. Even as a person with no construction knowledge, I knew the piece of wood would also need to be replaced. I showed a picture of the piece of wood to the Lowe's associate and he informed me the person who comes to measure the door will include that in their quote they give back to Lowe's. When SDR Construction called to let me know when they would send someone to measure my door, I asked if I would need to be home. The woman I talked to said it wasn't necessary for anyone to be home. Going against my better judgement, I decided to not take time off of work to be there. They are professionals, right? They should be able to see the broken wood. I got a call from Lowe's saying they received the measurements, I just needed to come in and pay for the rest of the door/installation. When I went to Lowe's, they gave me my total and the amount was for a standard installation, not including what it would cost to replace the broken wood. I questioned the Lowe's associate about this and they said there are no notes from SDR Construction regarding this and they would need to call them and get back to me. After 3 days, I called Lowe's to get an update, but they hadn't heard back from SDR Construction. Its been a week now, so I called SDR Construction myself. I explained the situation to the woman who answered the phone and she asked me if I spoke to Lowe's about this. I told her yes, but they are not the ones who came to look at my door. They cannot charge me for something that was not included in the estimate that was given to them. She told me had to look into it. Needless to say, I am over it. I am just going to buy the door from Lowe's and have someone I know install it. Get it together SDR Construction.

We went to Lowe’s on 10/22/2018 and paid a fee and were told that this company would be contacting us within a few days to come and measure for a storm door. We are still waiting. Today is December 3rd and we still have not been measured and we still have no storm door. Not very impressive service.

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a storm door through Lowe's and SDR was the contractor assigned to the job. I got a generic email from them one day saying my installation had been delayed with no future install date. No explanation was provided and no follow up was offered. I had to pursue Lowe's to get a refund after they weren't able to get in contact with this outfit either. Stay far away.
