Seattle Design Builders, LLC is owned by Pete and Barbara Pilkington of Seattle. We’ve resided in the Puget Sound area for over 30 years, and have provided housing and building expertise for hundreds of clients on projects big and small. Our commitment is simple — create and build structures of long lasting beauty and value — and maintain long-term relationships with our clients. Our passion and dedication to quality, integrity, service, and value is reflected in everything we do. Our success is based on our clients satisfaction with every step of the design/build process. Pete Pilkington graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a BS in Architecture. A native New Yorker from Long Island, he has resided in the Pacific Northwest since 1978. He is an avid sailor and published author of, “A Significant Casualty”.
Barbara O’Hara Pilkington holds certificates from University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business in Executive Development as well as Human Resources Management. She is a Certified Aging-In Place Specialist (CAPS), and is trained in universal design through National Association of Home Builders. Barbara has resided in Seattle since 1977, and is a certified sailor through The American Sailing Association.
