Smith Boland Architects

Smith Boland Architects was established in early 2013 with the intention of providing architectural, planning, and design services to a diverse clientele. The practice was founded by Tom Smith, AIA and Michael Boland, AIA, who combined have over 50 years of experience in the field of architecture. Prior to creating Smith Boland Architects, Tom and Michael collaborated on a multitude of religious and educational projects at CDH Partners. The projects range from programming and master planning services to document development, project management, and construction administration.

Committed to providing exceptional client service and high quality design, our mission is to design buildings and spaces that will have a positive impact on the people they serve and the communities in which they exist. Each project contains a very specific set of needs, and it is our goal to clearly define and address those needs with an architectural solution that exceeds our client’s expectations. The office design is an open plan that encourages the free exchange of ideas and information amongst the entire staff; no private offices.
