I started the Decor and More platform back in 1996 while doing general construction partnered in a friends company. As he moved back to the East Coast I went back to my basic love of the environment and found an avenue in construction that would allow me to make a profit and make a difference. I began to focus on environmentally friendly painting and decorating. As my interest in the environment grew I began to look more at sustainable practices in construction. We started Ecolife Development as a platform for all our construction ventures and I got my LEED AP certification so that we could move forward with the greening of the industry while having the ability to promote it as well.
