Founded in 1984 by Virgil and Cheeta Stremler, Stremler Gravel Inc. has grown from a one-dozer, family-run operation into a prominent supplier of gravel and site development services in Whatcom County. Incorporated in 1990, the company expanded under the ongoing involvement of the Stremler family, with Gordon Stremler joining in 1996. Based in Lynden—near Bellingham and approximately 70 miles north of Everett—Stremler Gravel serves clients across Whatcom and Skagit Counties. The company’s service portfolio covers gravel supply, excavation, site development, and utility installation, including sewer, storm water, water systems, and fire lines. Stremler Gravel works with a range of property types, offering both materials and full-scale site preparation services for construction projects throughout the region.
