Matt (and sons) have done 2 Bathrooms and now a complete Kitchen remodel for us. All 3 projects were done in a timely manner and very, very close to on budget. Matt has an excellent design sense and makes pertinent suggestions without being intrusive. He has great attention to detail and is very creative in overcoming any unexpected obstacles that may present themselves. An excellent experience!

After finishing my kitchen Sunset Remodeling did not follow up with concerns I had about a dented hood that they installed in my kitchen. Also they did not inform me about additional cost. I found out from an invoice placed on my counter asking for a check. Although I believe Matt did an excellent job on the cabinet and island installation he is definitely not a tile expert. I would not use him to install tile. In addition, most contractors remove construction trash by renting a roll off but Sunset remodeling did not. You will be responsible for removing all your own construction trash. He did not clean up after himself every day. I often had to move his tools so that I could park in my garage. He also left stains all over my garage floor and scratches on my hardwood where he drug boxes in from his truck. His contract ask for half up front and half and the end. Matt asked for money twice during the construction which is not typical. In addition, if you are looking for someone to show up every morning at 7 do not look to Sunset Remodeling to do that. He often did not show up until afternoon and left by 5-6 PM. He said the project would take two weeks and it ended up taking six weeks. I did not have a positive experience.

I absolutely reccomend Sunset Remodeling. They remodeled a bathroom in our older home. I know these types of remodels can be tough. Matt not only listened to my wants and needs, but made sensible recommendations. He was able to accommodate everything we asked for. He was extremely neat and professional. My bathroom turned out amazing! It is the most beautiful room in the house! We trust them and will use again for our next project!
