I was first introduced to this contractor through a friend. Arthur (the contractor) fixed a window for me that my autistic son broke for free. I was humbled and impressed.
I decided that I would use him for a future project. His work was good but he didn't complete the job. I paid him in good faith and now he will not return my phone calls or texts. The work that he did complete is okay (he did not install my vanity lights properly, he did not complete the "touch up" paint, and some of the vanity parts were placed unevenly). I am very disappointed in his work ethics. On his invoice, it clearly says final payment upon completion but he expected full payment even when the work was not complete. Due to this, using this contractor was not a,pleasant experience for me.
Response from The Day Husband General Contractors, LLC May 20, 2018The goal of The Day Husband is to provide the best customer experience possible. We take pride in giving back to those in need. This job was completed and all issues that were brought to my attention were addressed. We expect payment as it is written on the contract. There is a deposit to begin the job, another payment when the job is half complete and the final payment is expected upon completion. Thanks for your feedback. -

Have used Day Husband many times. Has remodeled my 2 bathrooms, done painting inside and outside the house, and lots of repair work. He is reliable, does good work, and I highly recommend. His prices are competitive. I will continue using him for all the work in my house as the need arises.

Arthur (the contractor) didn't complete the job. I paid a $1000 deposit and now he will not return my phone calls or texts messages. The work that he did is incomplete and just okay. I am very disappointed in his lack of ethics and professionalism. On his invoice, it clearly states that final payment is due upon completion but he expected full payment even when the work was not complete. Due to this, using this contractor was a horrible experience. UPDATE: I sued the Day Husband General Contractors and won a default judgement (deposit plus courts costs)!
