For more than six decades, the Hoosier Co Inc has specialized in highway construction projects across Indiana. Operating as both a prime contractor and a specialty subcontractor, the company provides union labor for transportation infrastructure, including the installation of traffic signals, roadway signage, and lighting systems for highways and airports. Hoosier Co Inc is pre-qualified by the State of Indiana Department of Transportation and holds certifications such as Women Business Enterprise (WBE) with both the State of Indiana and the City of Indianapolis, as well as IMSA certification. Their service capabilities extend to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) installations, encompassing dynamic message boards, time travel signs, WIM stations, ATR systems, towers, CCTV, fiber optic lines, and RWIS weather stations and sensors. The construction department is managed by Vice President—Construction Keith, who directs operations, while Operations Manager Chuck leads scheduling and field teams. Hoosier Co Inc undertakes projects throughout Indiana and works with both public and private sector clients.
