I started in this business as a maintenance man for an apartment building that a friend of my owned. Then I started painting and repairing drywall with another painter who showed me how to repair drywall, so you can't tell there was ever a hole or damaged area there before. I also learned how to handle a brush, which is important when you're painting.
In the early 90s I remodeled apartment complexes for Beachum properties based out of California. We did about 600 units for them, as well as about 100 units for a company called Equity.
I got my contractor's license in '95 and have since done home remodels and room additions in addition to home repairs.
I've done some commercial TIs. I built out a tobacco shop in old town Scottsdale called Ford and Haig Tobacconist and a chiropractor's office in Chandler called Inline Chiropractic.
The biggest commercial build out I've done was a 2800 sq. ft unit for a telemarketing company.
My main focus is on residential remodels and repairs.
