    “Poor Quality” not Tru Quality, if you Think about hiring this contractor, do your homework, Mike Ortiz and his crew are a scam. His company preys on the vulnerable disabled elderly. He has done many jobs and does not complete the work. Many bathrooms are inoperable as work is not completed, unfortunately he has clients sign paperwork prior to completion of his jobs and never returns. Mike, I would be ashamed what your doing. This company does not deserve a one star.

    I still have a giant hole down to the foundation in my bathroom. Shower hasn't been usable since before April, 2017. I can't believe the State of NM (tax payers) pays this poor excuse of a contractor.

    After reviewing his credentials and looking him up, I went to NMCID (New Mexico Construction Industries Division) and found that Michael had a license revoked while with his company Qualitex Builders. In 2010, while with Zitro Construction Services ('O r t i z' spelled backwards), the license was revoked too. (rld.state.nm.us/construction) Whats this guy doing?
    The Construction Industries division in NM is like the medical Board for a doctor. One has to be found guilty of something horrible for any board to order revocation.
    He has a few lawsuits in the past. As of this week, according to the 'NM Courts' website, he has been served for yet another lawsuit naming SMRT Construction Services, Inc. and Zitro Construction Services, Inc,--Check him out at the nmcourts.gov website.
    I would think twice before taking the gamble when the odds are against me!
    It looks like he is just beginning his advertising with Angies List by offering the 'Big Deal'.
    To me, his past record is a 'Big Deal'!
    Please do your homework. My gut says "Angie, stay AWAY!!"

    Tru-Quality Design/Construction Inc. is not associated with Zitro construction Services Qualitex Builders and SMRT Construction services. Tru-Quality Design/Construction is a separate entity. Tru-Quality has completed over 600 projects in the past two years. This person that wrote up this review has given false information. And is slandering the company Tru-Quality Design/Construction Inc. with the help of BUILDZOOM. Read the date of this review 2/5/2013. Tru-Quality Design/Construction Inc. was established April 2014. not 2013 This proves that information posted by "Max" is not true. This also shows BUILDZOOM does not screen or investigate comments that are posted on there web site. Additionally BUILDZOOM the company spells the name Tru not True..
