When I got out of high school I was working at a warehouse and doing construction evenings and weekends. I had an opportunity to go into construction full time after I helped a fellow employee pour the foundation for his manufactured home. The manufactured home salesperson liked our work so much that he gave us more work, finally, there was so much that I quit the warehouse and went full time into construction. My main referral network is the salespersons that sell manufactured homes. I am a valuable resource for them because I do every part of the construction project which allows them to sell a house, I do the construction and then we all get paid, My expertise on the site (meeting clients, working with them on the site development and the actual construction on their project) helps the sales persons retain customers and gets them referrals for new customers. I am a site development contractor for the manufactured housing community. "If you have a bare piece of property, choose a manufactured or modular home, I complete the site work to build a package deal. I get permits, drill wells, install septic systems, pour foundations, bring in power, pour steps, sidewalks, build driveways, bridges, garages, patios, decks….whatever you need".
