Urban Construction was founded over 15 years ago by Randy Schechter. Before launching the company, Randy developed, designed, and built his own chain of fast-casual restaurants across the East Coast, creating a strong foundation in design, construction, and project management.
Urban Construction has completed a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, including restaurants, lounges, professional offices, and retail spaces. A notable project includes the flagship Russ & Daughters restaurant at the Jewish Museum in New York City.
In recent years, Urban Construction has expanded its focus to residential renovations, specializing in Manhattan condos, Westchester homes, and Connecticut residences. From complete gut renovations to kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home remodels, every project is managed with meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, and a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.
