Valley Plumbing & Heating, Inc. (VPHI) was founded and incorporated in March of 2015 by its current President, John C. Ridling and Vice-President Joseph S. Eldridge. VPHI was formed by the two owners as a new business in the state of Washington to provide excellent customer service and a great quality of work to the community. VPHI branched out and also serves the Northern Idaho area.
Before becoming owners, John and Joe (Joseph) worked their ways up the construction ladder. Both completed their plumbing apprenticeship in Alaska where they began to gain responsibilities as journeyman on their respective jobs. Becoming task managers gave them the experience to run small crews and control the outcome of a specific task. Both moved into superintendent positions not to long into their journeyman career. John and Joe both have been in the superintendent roles for over the last 10 years. The pair have worked on public, private, and large scale military projects. They have also completed several remote Alaskan projects.
Ashley Eldridge, the company's Project and Safety Manager, has had over 8 years of experience involved with construction tasks from start to finish; beginning with the submittal process and ending with close out and final documents. She has attended classes at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, in Construction Management and has completed her Certified Safety Management Practitioner (CSMP) course through the Institute for Safety and Health Management. In 2014, she also obtained her OSHA Outreach Instructions Certificate.
