Danny Turbin is either Texas' most incompetent contractor or the most dishonest contractor in Texas. We hired Danny to remodel two bathrooms, kitchen backsplash and a few other items. Danny and his crew don't like to permit their work and when we insisted on permitting all the work with the City of Austin, Danny dragged his feet and finally we had to open up the permits ourselves. He then performed the work with such incompetence, that the city inspector failed Danny's plumbing work. Danny neglected to tell us that the inspector had failed his work and for many weeks deceived us by telling us that the city was backlogged and the inspectors weren't available. We finally called the City of Austin and they came out the next day to inspect Danny's plumbing work. No surprise then that the City failed the plumbing work the second time, because Danny and his crew covered up all the plumbing in the walls, floors and yard without letting the inspector inspect the work. So now here we are, unable to pass the City's plumbing inspection and unable to rent our house. We will have to open up our walls and floors to get the inspection permitted and even then I have no faith in the quality of his work. Buyer beware! Hire someone with a good reputation.
