    Paving, Driveways, and Sidewalks project

    Even though they were low bidders, they proposed doing the most prep work of all bidders. They refurbished my old driveway and made a new side drive extension. The job was done per their bid in a timely manner. I am happy with the results and workmanship.

    It actually should be zero stars ...

    UPDATE: They never responded to any of the emails, phone calls, messages or legal letters that were sent out. We filed an official complaint, which they also ignored, and received a default judgement in our favor. They also have a second complaint filed on their bond. PLEASE BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

    We hired this company, signed the contract and were given a two week period for completion. Shortly thereafter the problems began, they would give us an ETA and then show up 4-5 hours later with no notice and when we called they wouldn't pick up. They have since (in 3 months, instead of the scheduled 2 weeks) completed half of the job and now nothing. They have disappeared. We have been forced to seek legal council. Our goal, since they have received the majority of the money due for the project, is for them to finish the job, but when the owner received the letter from our lawyer, he called to ask me if we wanted to settle our of court or "take it all the way to court", even though per the letter he still has 10 days as of today to complete the project. He is not professional at all, dishonest in all his communications, and flaky to no end. I would strongly caution anyone from doing business with Vision Investment Group or with Stephen Michael Smith (the owner).
