Founded by Chester Butler 30 years ago during his 27-year tenure with Roanoke Gas Company, Mr. Butler left Roanoke Gas Company in 1989 to pursue his full-time business.

W. C. Butler Heating & Air Conditioning also maintains a 24-hour service department. We has been selling Heil products for more than 30 years, but we service all brands of heating and air conditioning equipment.

Today, W. C. Butler has over 30 employees and does primarily residential heating and air conditioning with some light commercial work. We buy Heil products from local distributor Southern Refrigeration Corporation, a customer-oriented distributor with outstanding customer service.
