The following is all in opinion!!!
I hired Wirth to build my families home. Never again! i would not let Wirth Development Corporation build a Dog house for me now. Wirth built 2 speck houses before he would finish mine with delayed me almost 2 months getting in. During the construction of the house my wife and did all of the construction clean up the contractors did nothing! Work was not done as i would have liked it to be i asked for some small items to be done and they refused to. I was threaten to be kicked off the job site by their realtor. To me they are not a customer based company. At closing they did not even have a rep there. We did not receive any keys for the new house the day we closed. No one went over the home warranty info with us. We still have items that we found wrong in our walk thru before closing that still have not been fixed. If you are looking to work with a contractor to build your families home this isn't the company to use everything has to go thru the realtors which is pain in the butt esp when having to deal with the realtors they use. They are all happy in the begining but after they know you have the house under contract and have picked out everything good luck getting anything else out of them...The funniest thing that happened to us was they told us the house would be done 120 days from ground breaking, after 3 months the house was not even 1/3 the way done they came back and said 120 days from the time framing starts. It took them over 2 months to start framing... We asked them to clean up inside before painting started... Yeah right! Dirt and Trash all the the paint and trim!
Have emails on quotes for work to be done and paid for it.... Dormer and Sub floor up stairs dormer was done sub floor never installed..... Just ask anyone in LAKES OF JOLIFF development!!!!! Once again everything said here is just what happened to me and the items stated are all in my opinion..
