Breather Pipe Plumbing
My husband and I have been working on clearing the backflow from our kitchen sink. The water seeps into the back porch, which led us to discover that the breather pipe was left open and exposed behind the pantry wall. From what we understand, the breather pipe is supposed to connect through the roof top to allow sewer gases to escape. However, in our case the breather pipe was left unfinished, which led to molding and dampness on the inner walls and insulation. Looking to fix this issue and complete the unfinished breather pipe assembly. For now, the sewer gases are coming in through our pantry, which is not only a health risk but also exposes my family to contaminants. I would like to resolve this as quickly as possible. If interested, please get in touch with me. Thank you!
