Not a remodel Whirlpool tub replacement tired of the term Remodel is code for high prices, pay for a designer, advertisement, and overhead. Not paying all those costs, simple tub replacement. Want quality work, a decent warranty, not necessarily a lifetime warranty. I can have tub shipped to my home from Kohler, Jaquizzi, or a similar manufacturer; installer installs. Move faucet from tub to wall, trim about a foot or so above tub to bottom of window. This is my current layout; this is not my exact picture, but the layout is the same: replacing this type of whirlpool, trimming the same height to the bottom of the window, and the faucet location is on the opposite side.
