To complement our free services, we offer three plans for basic, premium, and professional users. The best perk of being an upgraded member is getting your own dedicated Account Manager that can help grow your business. Details and pricing information are available here. There are never any contracts and if you decide the upgrade is not best for you, you can cancel at anytime.
Can I pay the referral fee in installments?
Yes; if you find that you are unable to pay the referral fee upfront, contact your BuildZoom Account Manager and we will work with you to find a suitable payment plan.
How do I pay the referral fee when I get hired on a project?
Congratulations! Once you have won the contract, mark your hire for that project on BuildZoom. You will receive an invoice for the referral fee via email, as well as in the mail if we have your address on file. You can pay by credit card, bank transfer (ACH), or check.
Is there a fee to sign up?
Your BuildZoom profile is completely free to use! Businesses may create or claim their profile on BuildZoom to connect with projects from homeowners. We will only be paid a small referral fee once a contract is signed between the homeowner and contractor for a project.
Do you charge for leads?
At BuildZoom, our goal is to provide homeowners with the best contractor; not necessarily the one who is paying money to us.
We do not charge contractors to register for our service; Instead we require that they have an active license that we can verify with the state or governing regulatory entity when required.
We also do not charge contractors when we send them jobs from homeowners. Instead, we send those projects based on their BZ score, which is a composite of information we are able to gather from public sources like the license board, consumer reviews and their own participation on the site.
How do I pay my referral fee?
Congratulations on winning a project through BuildZoom: more wins = more project opportunities and a higher BuildZoom score.
Follow these simple steps to confirm your win and pay your referral fee:
1. Find the project opportunity in your project dashboard, click on the status field and select 'Hired.'
2. You'll be presented with a pop-up. Click 'Confirm Hire.'
3. Next, you'll be asked to input the final project price and upload the client agreement so we can validate the win. Once you've completed these actions, click on 'Continue.'
4. Finally, you'll be presented with the payment page, where you can input your payment method. Click 'Submit Referral Fee,' to complete the process and validate your win!
Why am I not receiving leads?
The number of jobs we send to you depends on factors such as the number of requests we receive from homeowners in your area, your BZ score, and your visibility on BuildZoom. We recommend updating your preferred mile radius and the services you provide so we can match you with the most appropriate jobs. We also screen businesses based on their BZ score, so be sure to collect good reviews and add your license information. You may also reference our article on how to increase your BZ score.
