I had 2 wall outlets on the same circuit basically melt the wires inside the box. No breaker tripped either time. Best case scenario would be to replace the wiring for the burnt out wire and possibly upgrade my electrical box if it needs it. Box and wiring are original to house, which was built approx. 40 years ago.
