Sill Plate Evaluation and Repair and rebuild side porch stairs and handrails
Looking for a qualified contractor to evaluate and repair damaged sections of sill plate. Some parts I've repaired; most other parts are good, but a few other areas need evaluation and repair. The house has vinyl siding that would need the bottom couple of courses removed. Then wood sheathing would need to be cut out to expose the sill plate that is mostly 8" X 8" lumber. The house is 100+ years old but was moved to its current site in 1964 and sits on a concrete block foundation in good shape. I added rebuilding of side / rear porch stairs. A project that's been on back burner for a long time. I have most of the materials, so I could go over that with contractors.
