I live on Whidbey Island (Whidbey Shores/FFox Spit). This weekend I replaced an old dishwasher with a new one and need some assistance in setting up an outlet for the dishwasher, ideally this week if at all possible. While we have a standard outlet under the sink that is live and has our garbage disposal plugged in, the dishwasher does not seem to have power when I plug it in to the same outlet. It may have to do with the 20-amp vs. 15-amp receptacle; I am not sure. If I plug the dishwasher into any other receptacle in the kitchen, it works. Is it possible to have someone come out and take a look and then help us get it resolved? Work needs to be done this week. Please reach out if you can help. Thank you.
