I just bought a house and am looking to inspect/upgrade the electrical inside the house. The house was built in 1953. Still has the original panel and would like to update it. general inspection to make sure wires can handle modern appliances/are good to go. Check grounding in outlets. See if there is a ground wire or not. At least three GFCI outlet installs, possibly more. Add wire for ceiling fan installation. Add wire for recessed lighting in living room (3 to 4 lights) and a couple of other smaller things. The main thing is the panel upgrade and the ground wire check, though.
