Window Repair and/or Replacement
Subject: Window Replacement Inquiry – Longleaf Development Townhome
I live in a triplex townhome in the Longleaf development. The full project will involve replacing seven windows plus the sliding glass patio door.
The most urgent area is a bumped-out structure with four bay-style windows. Currently, the two middle windows are casement windows, flanked by two fixed outer windows. I am considering replacing the two middle casement windows with either a single picture window or a sliding glass window.
This section is urgent because the interior bedroom baseboard is swelling and the paint is curling, indicating water leakage from an unknown source, possibly between the exterior and interior walls. For context, the townhome is a single-story unit built on a slab.
