Re-piping Work
I seem to have an unsolvable plumbing project: my kitchen sink no longer gives cold water, only hot-warm-cool. In the effort to fix this, two plumbers went under my house and discovered that when I had my house repiped with copper, they left all the galvanized pipe in place and there are places where the two are touching, causing corrosion. They also didn’t strap anything or insulate it. They also routed the water in long and tortuous ways. The recommendation is to fix all this. I also could use advice on what to do about the original plumber who purposely did a bad job—do I have any recourse?
