Approximately 2000 sq ft home (30 yrs old) has a failing electric boiler that heats the home using baseboard radiators. There are approximately 600 sq ft up and 1400 at ground level. The house is built over an insulated crawl space.
I want to investigate using a zoned mini-split system as a new heating source. The home uses a new and efficient wood stove as the primary heat source. I also have an approximately 600 sq ft ADU project at the same address that I would like to heat with mini splits as well.
