A two-family home that was damaged by surface flooding during Hurricane Ida.
The water entered the garage at the front of the home to a depth of approximately 12”. The living portion of the lowest level, the same level as the garage, was damaged with ~6” of floodwater.
The home has been repaired.
The applicant is concerned about the subsiding, settling, and heaving of the hardscape at the front of the home. Then the pavers settled.
They became uneven.
The patio slab at the rear of the home, the C-wall, pitches toward the home.
The grant was approved for repairs. So I'm looking for contractors.
