We are under contract on the house but have not closed yet; closing is scheduled 6/24. We are trying to get a sense of lead times for GC availability. Our scope for a GC has some flexibility, but the maximum potential scope is the following: -Significant repairs of a detached 1-car garage (siding, roof) and/or demo and rebuild (it's close to the property line; not sure how that impacts permitting in Newton) -Masonry repair items (addition of railings to 3 front entry and 2 back entry steps, masonry repair of 3 front stone steps, masonry top coat to bulkhead, repointing areas of fieldstone foundation) -Addition of collar ties in attic -Addition of counter flashing to the front dormer -Repair of leaky gutter, extension of some gutter downspouts, and repair of wood rot near leaky gutter an...
