Multi-Basement Work
Water is pooling in the basement where the wall meets the floor, about 7ft away from the new sump pump. AllPro Construction Services inspected and ruled out a waterproofing issue. They feel it's a drainage footing problem. The plumber came out with a camera and jet power wash. They were unable to clear water or even see far enough because of the obstruction. NO trees nearby. They did notice several faulty installations of said pipes. They have images that show the pipes were installed upside down. and recommended excavation and correction of the defect. Home built in 2013-out of warranty, and K. Hovnanian assumes no responsibility despite the 30-year warranty on waterproofing. Need advice and estimate.
