To the best of my knowledge, the house was last roofed around twenty years ago. (At the time, the building was owned and occupied by my late mother.) Some of the siding (facing?) around the house is in bad shape and needs repair or replacement. There's also a carport at the address that also may need a new roof. Before work begins, trees next to the house or on the property must be trimmed back or cut down, and the rain gutters cleared of debris. I am in the process of scheduling this work. Rood is hotmop tar gravel roof on 4/12 slope and flat roof on room additions. Home built 1953. Insurance company wants new roof before policy. Currently does not leak. Looking for suggestions on different roof solution getting away from gravel roof and improvement with better drain gutters.
