I need to replace my heat pump system with a 2.5-ton, R-32, 30,000 Btuh unit. Consists of an exterior condenser unit and an interior horizontal air handler in my attic. The system is all electric. Also needs to have a 15 kW electric coil in the air handler for heat. Possibly want to add a mini split as well, depending on the cost. In extreme heat or cold, my current system cannot handle the temps, so I'm hoping the mini split will make up the difference so it can stay at a comfortable temp.
